Bill Bensley是BDS设计事务所（Bensley Design Studio）的创办人和总设计师，他在世界顶级度假酒店的规划和设计领域有丰富的经验，他的获奖作品遍布全球众多知名的度假酒店，水疗中心及私家住宅。曾经负责印尼巴厘岛凯悦酒店、泰国曼谷半岛酒店、三亚喜来登度假酒店、四季酒店等众多著名项目的景观设计。在业界被称为“世界级园林设计大师”。
他在加州州立理工学院攻读的景观建筑。1984年取得哈佛大学硕士学位后，Bill Bensley加入到新加坡Belt Collins & Associates公司，更于1987年成为该公司香港区的行政总裁。
 
Bill Bensley is the founder and chief designer of BDS (Bensley design studio), he has rich experience of planning and designing ofin the field Top Resort Hotel in the world, his award-winning works such as famous hotel resort, spa and private residential cover all over the world. He has been the landscape designer for many famous projects such as Indonesia Bali Hyatt Hotel, Thailand Peninsula Bangkok Hotel, Sheraton Sanya resort, Four Seasons Hotels. He was known as the "World-class landscape design master" in the hotel design industry .
 
He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, majored in landscape architecture. In 1984, he obtained a master's degree in Harvard University. Bill Bensley joined in Singapore Belt Collins & Associates Company, then he became the chief executive of Hongkong district in 1987.
