畢業於紐約大學的室內設計專業，後又在美國密歇根大學獲得碩士學位。當時紐約規模最大的設計公司W&J Sloane聘請她成為公司內的第一位華裔設計師。這位華裔設計師很有幸地被安排在當時紐約設計界頗具知名度的兩位設計師Sonia Orderway 及 Nancy White的指導下。
    1994年在北京設立楊氏國際設計公司總部。2006年獲得房地產年會頒發的中國室內設計個人成就獎。作為室內設計行業領軍人物的楊瑞丹至今從事設計行業已經近三十年，她宣導創造高品質的生活空間，創造價值、將不同潮流的設計帶入到人們的室內外生活空間。而楊瑞丹所創立的品牌楊氏在進駐中國的十八年以來不斷發展壯大，也得到了越來越多的認可。從94年成立美國楊氏設計北京公司以來，楊瑞丹及她的設計團隊就一直為重裝飾輕裝修的理念努力著，提倡LESS IS MORE的設計理念，三十年執著，被譽為“裝飾之母”。
 
She was graduated from the New York University in  interior design, and obtained a master's degree in the University of Michigan in the United States. Then W&J Sloane,the biggest design company in New York,hired her as the first Chinese designer. She was very fortunate and under the guidance of two popularity designers in New York design industry at that time Sonia Orderway and Nancy Whiteto .
 
She founded YANG international design company headquarters in 1994 in Beijing.And got Personal achievement award of China Interior Design Achievement Award on Real Estate Annual Meeting in 2006.As the interior design industry leader Yang Ruidan has been engaged in the design industry for nearly thirty years, she advocated to create high-quality living space, creating value, puting the different trends into people's indoor and outdoor living spaces.And YANG’s brand has got its continuous development and growth and more and more recognized since eighteen years ago entered in China.Since the establishment of the United States YANG design (Beijing) in 1994,Yang Ruidan and her design team has been working on the idea of focusing embellishment instead of Miscellaneous fixture, and promote the design concept of ‘less is more’. 30 years’ perseverance she was known as the mother of decoration.
