Soh Leen How, is a Principal of Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart (SRSS), a top notch hospitality design firm. Mr Soh has over 25 years of professional experience in master planning and architecture projects which spread across many countries and regions. His experience covered large scale city master plan, urban design and architecture design.
1984年，他赴美國肯薩斯州大學就讀建築系本科，在1990年以全畢業班設計第一名的傑出成績畢業，獲頒Thayer設計金牌獎。2000年，蘇先生開始攻讀MBA，於2002年以該屆新加坡區的第一名的優異成績獲得澳大利亞皇家墨爾本理工大學國際工商管理碩士學位。
In 1984, he enrolled in the School of Architecture of the University of Kansas, USA. In 1990, he graduated with Distinction and the Thayer Gold Medal for design excellence. In 2000, Mr Soh started his MBA program, in 2002, he graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) and was awarded Gold Medal for the Singapore intake.
蘇先生于2003年加入SRSS。憑藉著SRSS在美洲及亞太地區的優異酒店設計業績和蘇先生的在國內努力開拓、經營“SRSS酒店與旅遊” 設計服務，SRSS已經樹立起頂尖酒店設計的品牌。在蘇先生和同事們的努力下，2005年，SRSS在國內的第一家酒店，三亞亞龍灣萬豪度假酒店及水療中心。隨後陸續竣工的項目有三亞灣假日酒店，綏芬河世茂假日酒店，上海東方佘山索菲特大酒店，蘇州洲際酒店，南昌皇冠假日酒店，常州九洲喜來登, 三亞海棠灣喜來登度假酒店，三亞禦海棠-豪華精選度假酒店，鄭州希爾頓，及無錫皇冠假日。SRSS全體設計團隊也期待著洛陽希爾頓逸林，株洲晉合凱悅酒店，西安聖龍廣場華邑酒店及蘇州吳江艾美度假酒店的竣工。SRSS在中國大多數已竣工、開業的酒店都獲得許多最佳酒店獎項和優質設計獎。
Mr Soh joined SRSS in 2003 and he is the first executive to station in China. Riding on SRSS’ excellent Hospitality design track records in US and Asia Pacific; and his endeavor to develop and manage “SRSS Hospitality” design services in China, SRSS has become a top notch hospitality design brand. Under the SRSS Team’s effort, SRSS’ first hotel in China, Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa was completed in 2005. Since, SRSS have seen the completion of Holiday Inn Sanya Bay Resort, Holiday Inn Suifenhe, Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental, InterContinental Suzhou, Crowne Plaza Hotel Nanchang Riverside, Changzhou Jiuzhou Sheraton, Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort, The Royal Begonia- A Luxury Collection Resort, Zhengzhou Hilton, and Wuxi Crowne Plaza. Projects under construction include Luoyang Hilton’s Double Trees, Jinghope Zhuzhou Hyatt Regency, Xi’an Shenglong Plaza Hualuxe Hotel and Suzhou Wujiang Le Meridien Resort. Most of SRSS designed Hotels and Resorts in China have garnered many best hotel awards and design excellence awards.
蘇先生在酒店專業的學術方面也作出許多貢獻。他在2012年受內蒙古科技大學建築與土木工程學院委任為客座教授。他是清華大學繼續教育學院數個高級研修班，同濟大學-米蘭理工大學（國際）設計管理大師班，亞太酒店設計協會酒店設計高級研修班及亞洲酒店論壇2個高級課程及其他學術研修班的講師。他也在國內多本建築地產類雜誌及大學上發表過專業文章。自2011年起，他一直是亞太酒店設計協會的專家委員。2015年，無錫室內設計師學會聘請他為該學會的專家顧問。
Mr Soh has also contributed to the Hospitality profession and academia. In 2012, he was appointed as the Adjunct Professor by the Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology’s School of Architecture & Civil Engineering. He has been a regular lecturer for several Tsinghua University Continued Education Executive Training Programs; Tongji University – Milan Polytechnic’s Executive Master of Design Management, Asia-Pacific Hotel design Association’s Hotel Design Advanced Course and 2 Advanced Courses by Asia Hotel Forum; he has published articles in various Chinese Real Estate Magazines and Universities. From 2011, he has been the advisor and expert committee member for Asia-Pacific Hotel Design Association since its inception. In 2015, he has been appointed the Honorary Advisor for the Wuxi Institute of Interior Designers.
鑒於蘇先生在中國酒店設計業界的優越業績及對設計學術的無私貢獻, 亞洲酒店論壇中心於2013第八屆中國酒店星光獎頒給蘇先生<中國酒店業最佳設計師>獎。 亞太酒店設計協會及亞太酒店設計協會陝西分會也在2014年頒發《年度特別貢獻獎》給他。2015年亞太酒店設計協會頒給蘇先生2015年度亞太酒店設計風雲人物金藝獎。
For Mr Soh’s excellent performance in China’s Hospitality Design Industry and selfless contributions to design academia, The Centre of Asia Hotel Forum awarded the Best Hospitality Designer in China Award to him at The 8th China Hotel Starlight Awards, 2013. And, in 2014, the Asia-Pacific Hotel Design Association and the Asia-Pacific Hotel Design Association’s Shan’xi Branch both awarded him with theAnnual Special Contribution Awards. In 2015, Asia-Pacific Hotel Design Association awarded Mr Soh with the Golden Arts Award for the 2015 Most Influential Asia Pacific Hotel Designer.
